Pausing in Practice
“Pausing in Practice” focuses on mindfulness and coping skills. Take a pause mid-day to practice using the emotion-regulating techniques that many of us have heard of, but struggle to implement consistently. We use breath work, body movement, thoughtful attention, and visualization to improve our ability to notice and tolerate emotions, observe our experience, and stay connected to the present moment. Research has shown engaging in practices like these can reduce stress and emotional reactivity, improve mood, improve memory and cognitive flexibility, and improve relationship satisfaction.
We will schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to get started. Please contact Meagan at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in this group or would like to discuss if it is a good fit for you.
